The \”coalition\’s\” reasons for being in Iraq have now disappeared.
First it was those pesky WMDs that we never found.
Then those exaggerated claims of Iraq\’s weapons capabilities.
Then that tenuous-at-best link between Saddam and some traveling al-Qaeda spokesman.
Now the very last thing we had going for us has completely evaporated. The moral high ground. At least the \”coalition\” could have said that they were better for the Iraqis than Saddam. But they can\’t say that any longer.
My frustration lies in being in a \”democratic\” country where when over 1million people march in London to protest against Britain going to war, it doesn\’t make a jot of difference. I am angered and frustrated that I am represented in an illegal was which I never wanted to happen in the first place. And there is nothing I can do about it.
If you know of anything that I, lowly Ben Gibbs, can do to change any of this, please add your comment below. Im feeling overwhelmingly helpless.
