Yes, it’s true! Mary-Lou and I are having a baby! We have known since early January and last week went to see a midwife about it, then we went for a scan on Monday and here it is:

He/she is due to be born on the 31st of August 2006, so it’s anyone’s guess whether he/she will be the oldest or youngest in the class!

I have noticed that everytime I look at the scan of our baby, I get this big grin on my face! I never thought that I would react this way to this degree - but I’m really excited and happy!

Mary-Lou was relieved to see his/her little heart beating on the scan monitor because she has been a little concerned about whether he/she was really there. The first thing she asked when she saw the heart beat was “So, it’s alive then?!”

Happy news, Happy days!

Mary-Lou and I were amused to see that with the scan on its side, our little one looks a bit like a teddybear!

I have been laughing alot recently. In fact my side has been hurting alot recently. I have been listening to the Ricky Gervais Podcast over the last couple of weeks since I discovered it.

Basically, it is Ricky, Stephen Merchant (his co-writer for The Office and Extras) take the rip out of Karl Pilkington (the producer of the TV shows) for his apparent idiocy and large, round head! They also talk about all sorts of odd things which they make interesting or turn against Karl with.
